Volcanic lava stone manifests of the enduring attraction between humans and the force of nature. It’s naturally-occurring, self-generating, and abundant. It has a porous and rough texture, often characterized by small holes and voids.

Choosing a lava stone product, you should be aware that it may, on occasions, include: pinhole cavities, darker spots, mineral spots, which has to be considered as natural aspects of the product.
Another peculiarity of the lava product is the possible slight variation in the size, in the range of +/- 1. mm, due to the dilatation during the firing. The enameling process itself may cause a variation in the thickness of the tile, in the range of +/- 0.5 mm.
It is also possible that the tiles bend slightly (1,5/ 2 mm approximately)
